20/01/2012 Barcode Generator upgraded with Webcam Scanner. Improved Technical Page 3

A much delayed Happy New Year, Merry Christmas and Season's Greetings. I cannot believe it has been six months since I updated the site, but the updates are finally here!

The first improvement has been to the Barcode Generator. One of the most tricky but rewarding features has been added - a Webcam Barcode Scanner! If you have a webcam with an adjustable focus, why not try it out? Just click on "Technical", then on "Generator" to find it.

Our next big update is on the Tech3 page. After being sent a suggestion via email, I have improved the explanation of "Method 1".

We still have some more updates to come in the next week or two, after which things may go quiet while we work on Barcode Brawlers. Now that we have a Webcam Barcode Scanner at our fingertips, the project should take off quite quickly.
