| 07/11/2008: | Corrected a gramatical error in the French Scans page. Fixed Games page.
An update to the Game Builders' Club which was sent to the wrong place has been fixed, along with a gramatical error on the French Scans page.
The Atari 2600 games in the Shop have started to sell, thanks to Andy RCM from the Retro Computer Museum. Be sure to check his site and pop in to his open day. Tickets are £3.50 for adults or £0.50 for under 16's at the door.
We will soon open some sub-sites for various product families, such as Datach, Ban-Dai and Radica. For now, please check out our Origami sub-site.

| 12/09/2008: | Arcade added to Forum.
We have taken the step of adding an SMF Arcade to our forum. Sign up and post to get your high scores listed!
Those of you watching with bated breath to read of the arrival of a Bandai Super Barcode Wars: Dragon Ball Z edition need to wait no longer, as the device arrived yesterday. However, we've been so busy with the Game Builders' Club that we'll have to leave it in the box for a few months before we'll be able to scan anything new.

| 23/08/2008: | Fixed errors in Barcode Generator.
The errors mentioned in our last update have been fixed.
We have also corrected a few spellar and gramming mistakes on the site - doh!
|
| 14/08/2008: | Error found in Barcode Generator.
We have found two faults in the Barcode Generator. The first was that C2 rewards were not being displayed. This has been fixed. The second regards a certain barcode. I'm not allowed to say which one, but you have 1000100000000 to choose from.

| 06/08/2008: | Activated new shop. Re-launched Bar Wars mini-site. Bar Wars Cards are now available!
Yes, the new shop is finally up and working. There are still a few bugs to work out, but we're on to them!
To celebrate the launch of the Bar Wars cards, we have re-launched the Bar Wars mini-site.
|
| 14/07/2008: | Plea for financial help!
I have just recieved a hosting bill for £38.65 from our gracious hosts at XILO. While this is not an unreasonable amount, they've caught me at a bad time, which is why I'm going to ask everyone who wants to keep this site running to donate at least £1.
We will pledge a high percentage of what you give to us to the Cancer Research UK charity (registered charity #1089464), and the 500th donor will recieve a Nintendo DS Lite and a UK top 10 game of their choice to play on it. Full details may be found here.
If you don't like cancer charities, or if you don't like those odds, then please vist one of our shops, either our Barcode Battler Shop or our Other Shop which is currently full of Atari 2600 games.

| 10/07/2008: | Service Announcement.
Everyone watching the forums will know that we have made advances in the development of the Bar Wars: The Neuroc Saga cards. This product will be available soon.
However, there will be a system upgrade between 25/07/2008 and 04/08/2008 when we will improve the shop.
Before this time, we will have 1 set available for sale! Watch this space!

| 26/06/2008: | New stock in the Shop.
While processing another Barcode Battler for the Shop, we have found a rare Tattoo Maniac card. These cards were given out with an issue of a computer game magazine in the 1990s. More details will be available soon.
We are also approaching a milestone in our Bar Wars: TNS card development. Keep your eyes on the forum for full details.

| 19/06/2008: | New stock in the Shop.
We have added two more Barcode Battlers to the Shop, so now you have even more choice!
|
| 16/06/2008: | Service Announcement.
We have been focusing our attention on a few things other than the main website recently. I'll explain what these are one by one:
1 We're working on an English version of the manual for the White Barcode Battler. It's not a direct translation - rather an adaptation of our existing replacement manual based on our experience using the machine.
2 We're also working on the images for the Bar Wars cards. If our current schedule goes according to plan, the base pack will be available to buy within two months from today.
3 This one is for the future - we'll expand into other barcode games. These will include the Datach Joint ROM, Radica Skannerz, Bandai Barcode Wars, and many others.
4 There's a couple of new items in the Atari games shop. Technically, they're not Atari related at all, but if you are into original Gameboys or Sega Saturns, click here.
|
| 14/05/2008: | New stock in the Shop. Dead links removed from Cards page.
We have added another Barcode Battler to the Shop, so if you have been waiting to get one, now is the time to buy! Once we have finished writing our replacement White Barcode Battler manual, we will have a White Barcode Battler available to buy too.
We have also removed some dead links from the bottom of the Cards page. Oddly, these were links to the pages replaced by the Cards page.

| 28/04/2008: | Forum Re-branded. Atari Game Shop Re-branded. News Re-branded. Shop Re-branded.
The forum is starting to look nice and green again, and the Atari Game Shop is also looking very much more professional than it did when it first opened.
We have also applied some slightly different design principles to the main Shop and News pages.
|
| 25/04/2008: | Forum Re-opened!
The forum is back, with all of the original members and most of the posts in-tact. We will be tweeking the look of the site over the next few days, but the functionality is all there!
|
| 23/04/2008: | Service Update.
We have decided on a new forum technology. Hopefully this one will be more secure than the last one. It should be up and running within the next few days.
|
| 21/04/2008: | Service Update.
While things have been a little quiet so far this year, we have started to research some new items. These include Super Barcode Wars by Bandai, and Skannerz by Radica Games. Expect to see two new sub-sites opening soon!
In sadder news, we have had to close the forum for a short time due to a security breach.
|
| 17/04/2008: | Added an Atari Games shop.
Our Atari 2600 games shop is now open, although some of the 100 items still need to be priced up. Please view them here!
|
| 07/04/2008: | Added new functionality to the Simulator.
We haven't been officially saying anything about the development of the combined BCB, BCBII and BAKODO simulator, but we're now up to version 0.05. Only BCBII C0 mode works at the moment, and that isn't finished yet, but we're getting there! Try it out here!
|
| 25/02/2008: | Added new stock to the Shop. Corrected mistake in Games page. Re-ordered the navigation menu.
After the breakdown of our old digital camera, we have figured out that a cheap SD card will enable the camera feature on one of our mobile phones, so we are now able to bring you new stock!
We have also re-ordered the navigation menu slightly.
Finally, we are playing host to a special project by a new member of our programming team. He wishes to be referred to only as "Captain Pineapple", but his programming capabilities out-weigh his eccentricity. View his project here (you'll need the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Opera).
|
| 05/02/2008: | Updated the links page.
Work is now under way on those Bar Wars cards. Tr0picana on the forums has offered to draw some of the card art, so things should be picking up pace very soon. I have tested some of the cards for compatability - more on this in the next week or two.
Also in the works is a re-jigged Bakodo system.
Finally, we have tidied up some of the dead links on the links page.
