The world of Hollywood draws many of its ideas from the world of Pie Movies. Sadly, many Pie Movies are altered during production and marketing to be pieless. Please read the pages below to see what could have been.
Bridge on the River Pie
The original plot involved William Holden as Commander Sheers, an Allied POW held in Burma by the Japanese army. He and his fellow captives are forced to build a bridge which would allow baking ingredients to be carried by train into Siam, which would strengthen the Japanese army units operating in that region. But unknown to the POWs, the Allied forces are on their way to destroy the bridge. The final cut removed the baking ingredient train because it turns out the Japanese army was banned from eating pies during the second world war.
