Method 0 (On official Japanese Epoch items) -
Method 0 barcodes are those which do not conform to Methods 1 or 2. The only two barcodes we have found which belong to this method are listed below:

Both of these are Epoch product barcodes - the Wizard is on the Japanese Barcode Battler II, the Warrior can be found within the Japanese Barcode Battler II manual, as well as on the Original Barcode Battler!
As far as we can tell, these two are exceptions, as modifying any one of the digits produces Method 2 barcodes.
The above barcodes behave very strangely, and Xensyria has put much effort into solving their mysteries. He has discovered they behave like Method 1 Hero barcodes - they have compatability issues with Method 1 power-ups, and also have P-Code digits which start 50 - the same as all Method 1 Heroes. However, these differ from the barcode data from which they are derived. Could this be a bug in the programming? Was it an intentional Epoch gimmick? We may never know, as Epoch won't reply to our emails.
If you find a barcode which behaves differently on the real Barcode Battler to the prediction of our Generator, please contact us with the barcode used and the result in all modes on the real BCB - you may discover a new Method 0 barcode!
Electronic games and consumer electronics are preferred.
No pørn or pop-ups will be considered.
